Peking University's clinical disciplines evaluate and publish the best clinical discipline assessment rankings in China, revealing the best hospital rankings in different departments.
The ranking results include 19 medical clinical disciplines, including: 6 first-level disciplines such as obstetrics and gynaecology, pediatrics, otolaryngology, ophthalmology, stomatology, oncology, and respiratory medicine, gastroenterology, cardiovascular, kidney medicine, and endocrinology. 13 secondary disciplines in internal medicine, blood medicine, neurology, general surgery, orthopedics, neurosurgery, urology, cardiac surgery, and thoracic surgery.
It is reported that this subject assessment has the following characteristics:
The focus is on the clinical quality of the subject, not on the number of projects and funds obtained and the number of papers published;
Objective assessment based on clinical medical data;
The top 15 hospitals are displayed in all disciplines.
Medical service-based case data and peer-reviewed specialist reputation data use standardized scores, with a weight of 7:3 in both parts.
The peer review was implemented by Zhongwei Medical Evaluation Consulting Co., Ltd., commissioned by the Peking University School of Medicine. The company is the first medical and health field assessment consulting company approved by the State Administration for Industry and Commerce and is an independent third party evaluation and consulting organization.
Due to the lack of military hospital data, the discipline of military hospitals is not within the scope of this discipline.
